Bill O'Connor

Bill O’Connor became self-employed as a consultant for the stone industry after over thirty years of manufacturing experience. For the past seven years as a field service engineer for Park Industries, he gained valuable knowledge, experience, and a reputation for excellence with over one thousand stone manufacturing facilities throughout North America and Europe. Some of his undertakings have included helping several companies execute their expansion projects efficiently and cost-effectively; educating industry professionals through web blogs and various speaking engagements; writing technical publications for stone industry newsletters; and researching, compiling and organizing a customer service data base. Prior to that time, he served as a senior machinist and project manager for fifteen years with a Spokane based company in the aluminum industry in which he provided troubleshooting expertise concerning shop layout, production flow, manufacturing, research and development and manufacturing feasibility studies.

Outside of professional interests, he enjoys church activities, riding his Harley Davidson, reading and traveling. In the past he has also enjoyed volunteering his time as a fire fighter and emergency medical technician (EMT-B) as well as with the sheriff's department in his local community (SCOPE).
